Green Kite Property Services Ltd, London's largest inventory company, are currently recruiting for a full time bookkeeper with management accounts experience to work besides the part time credit controller & report directly to the financial controller.
You will be responsible for the day to day finances of the company as well as producing management accounts at month end.
Key Responsibilities include
Importing sales and reconciling sales from our bookings system
Maintaining accurate accounting records & ensuring all transactions are accurately coded within the accounting ledgers.
Processing remittances for a high volume business
Processing payments
Bank reconciliations
Supplier ledger management
Journal postings
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Processing expense claims
Preparing VAT returns
Payroll preparation
Raising service charge invoices between internal group companies
Preparing month-end management accounts
Reconciling Petty Cash/Prepaid payment cards
Maintaining HR records
Ad hoc business analysis as required by the Financial Controller.
Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
Required skills & qualities
We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated, well disciplined professional person with a background within a fast paced, high volume financial environment who can add their experiences to the current team. Candidates are required to be able to demonstrate following:
A book-keeping qualification from a recognised industry body.
At least 4 years relevant employment experience (doesn’t have to be within the property service industry but this will be beneficial)
High level of knowledge of Xero cloud based accounts system
Well organised & meticulous. Attention to detail is extremely important.
Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (ability to use vlookups an advantage)
Fluent English speaker with clear communications skills
Ability to work to deadline & under pressure during busy periods
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00 to £30,000.00 /year
