The UK’s leading interfaith organisation is looking for someone to join the 3FF leadership team to ensure our finances are managed to the highest standards, and to play a key role in the success of our ambitious new strategic plan. We are open to full- or part-time and flexible working options for this position.
3FF works to build relations between people of different faiths, beliefs and cultures. Over the last 20 years we have grown to reach over 16,000 people per year through our education, engagement and action programmes which bring diverse communities together in schools, universities and communities.
This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a growing charity. You’ll work closely with both senior management and front-line staff to ensure our finances are managed effectively, as well as feed into the strategic oversight of the organisation to help us deliver our ambitious new business plan.
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to:
• Ensure our finances are managed effectively
• Prepare organisational and project budgets
• Control income, cash-flow and expenditure
• Prepare year end accounts and arrange annual financial audits
• Provide on-going financial management information and reports to senior leadership, trustees, and budget holders
• Support preparation of budgets and reports to funders/donors
• Produce management accounts, budget reforecasts and cash-flow reports
• Contribute to the effective leadership and strategic direction of the organisation
We’re looking for the following:
• Experience of preparing and overseeing budgets and managing cash flow
• Experience of preparing management and end of year accounts
• Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting
• Experience of working with or for a charity or similar organisation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• CIMA or ACCA part-qualified, or equivalent professional qualification or experience in accountancy/finance
We believe that people of all beliefs have an important part to play in our communities and we’re looking for someone who shares our vision- whether you’re an active member of a faith community yourself, or simply share our goals.
Working at 3FF:
You’ll be joining an organisation that embodies the inclusive and welcoming values we want to see in wider society. We pride ourselves on our diverse and collaborative working environment, where your passion and dedication will be rewarded through a flexible benefits package and ongoing support. At our most recent staff survey, 100% of staff said they are proud to work for 3FF and 100% enjoy working with the people here.
Application information:
We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible and will be conducting interviews on an ongoing basis- so apply now at www.3ff.org.uk/jobs/
We welcome people of all backgrounds, including people with religious or non-religious beliefs. We’re keen to grow the diversity of our team and particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates as these groups are currently underrepresented in our charity.
We are open to part- or full-time candidates and flexible working requests for this position.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from individuals without the right to work in the UK.
We request no contact from agencies regarding this vacancy.
