We are an accountancy practice seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our small and friendly Bookkeeping/VAT Department. This is a full time role (37.5 hours a week)

The role involves monthly and quarterly book keeping with the view of completing quarterly VAT Returns and providing management information for clients. Knowledge of prepayments/accruals/journals/deferred income & expenditure is required to prepare management information, and answering client’s queries.

The right candidate will have experience of computerised book keeping systems (Kashflow/FreeAgent/Sage) and be IT literate. The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people is a fundamental part of this role, as is the ability to work flexibly as the successful candidate will be required to to meet regular deadlines.
