Job Summary

Professional and friendly Firm of Accountants require an ambitious , hard working and dedicated individual to join the team in Dudley.

Skills you will possess - Use of Excel, Word, Outlook, Accounting software such as sage and xero will be an advantage but not essential.

At least 2 years previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and currently still in the profession is essential.

Work will include processing book keeping for vat returns, preparation of manual and computerised accounts to statutory level, preparing tax computations and returns.

Responsibilities and Duties

Dealing with sole traders, partnership and Limited Company clients, dealing with correspondence and accounting work

Reconciliation of manual control accounts and computerised records to prepare year end Financial Statements.

Inputting data onto accounting software

Preparing tax calculations

Assisting on audit assignments

Planinng and budgets

Telephone queries

Adhoc admin assignments

Books and records logging and chasing

File set ups

Qualifications and Skills

You will be either part or qualified AAT or ACCA

Further study assistance will be considered as part of an overall package
