Those who deal with payroll will need to prepare for the various changes in this new tax year.
Tax allowances
The main allowances are increasing. The Personal Allowance increases to £11,850; the Married Couple’s Allowance (MCA) for those born before 6 April 1935 increases to £8,695 with the income limit for the MCA at £28,900, and the Marriage Allowance (Transferable Tax Allowance) will be £1,190.Full article.
