Making Tax Digital for VAT – Bridging Software Solution

As you know MTD for VAT will come into effect from April 2019 for businesses with a turnover above the VAT threshold (currently £85,000). Those of you who are currently using spreadsheets may be looking at “bridging” software that will enable you to meet the MTD requirements.

In which case, AAT is delighted to advise that PWC is seeking volunteers who are AAT Licensed Members with VAT registered clients who would be interested in beta testing their VAT-MTD bridging software. If you are interested in volunteering then please email [email protected] by 4 October 2018 to confirm that you are interested in volunteering for this and please provide your AAT membership number, and an email address and telephone number that you are happy for AAT to provide to PWC.

Please note that PWC has advised that for reasons beyond their control not all volunteers will be able to test the software as it depends on HMRC criteria and whether they can facilitate the testing.
