I have been studying the material for some weeks. I am near the end of the study books with just ratios to go. However I feel completely incompetent the hardest unit I have had so far with Level 4.
Any revision tips and study plan suggestions 3 weeks until the exam.
I plan to put 3-4 hours in every evening but for the past two nights I have been completely overwhelmed and feel like I know nothing.

Hi,
It will take time for everything to sink in
I focused first on the calculation part of the exam and then practice the writing part as much as possible
I also thought that the unit is very hard and had doubts. Although I expected a pass at the exam I didn't expect 100%, but I guess that's what 2 months of studying gives you.
Here are some points I followed on the written questions:
For IAS
Know the basic points in each standard
Read the questions carefully
Be specific, include calculations where you can
For example include the name of the business where you can, if they manufacture soap, called soap, not items, etc
For ratios
Learn by heart at least 2 of the criteria
The mention of whether the ratio is better or worse gives you 1 mark, so always start with that
Don't waste time writing more than necessary, you can achieve only 5 marks per ratio, the one I mentioned above and 2 for each correct explanation given. Writing more on one ratio won't compensate for lack in other
Be able to explain the working capital cycle
Don't explain the formulaAAT Level 2. 2018 Distinction
AAT Level 3. 2018 Distinction
AAT Level 4. 2019 FSLC 100% MABU 93% MADC 82% PDSY 80%
