Working at Christmas

It's a Friday!

It's Christmas cause Nobby told me last weekend!

Has anyone not got their tree up yet!

I've already got a couple of days booked as working between Christmas and New Year with the other days being slob days up to now. This will change but New Year's Eve is a no work day with a fell race already entered.

Nobby hasn't told me that IT'S CHRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISTMAAAAAAAAAAAAAS yet, but my dad's put up the traditional 4' plastic tree already (on Dec 1) at home, although it's yet to be all tinselled and baubled up. :)

Nothing up at work yet, though we usually don't put the tree up in the office 'til mid-December; our office Christmas Dinner is on Fri 14, so I imagine the tree will probably go up either on the Thursday or the following Monday. xD

Days off - I've got 24, 27, and 28 booked off, but not 31 December...unless our payroll manager finds she needs to come in on NYE to wrap up some lastminute.com clients' payrolls. Not sure if I'd be happy 'cos it'd mean she'd lose the day off so that I could be enjoying it instead. xD

I can't believe we are having a thread about Christmas and @BeccaLouJ9 hasn't contributed yet!!!!

In my house the Christmas tree is up but I have yet to put decorations. The kids used to help but they aren't interested anymore :/

I am planning to take the week of Christmas off. I have made it clear to the clients with a 31st March year end that if I don't get their books by the 14th December I won't be able to prepare and file their accounts until the new year.
I always check emails anyway and may do a bit of work...it's usually quiet as clients are usually on holiday themselves.

    Happy Christmas everyone! :)

    Hey guys,

I don't seem to get notifications from AAT forums anymore...

I haven't been around here for a while, so missed the Christmas excitement.

    How is everyone?
