Shareholder reclassification

I have a man/wife client that are 50/50 in a ltd company but the shareholders are listed as one and both named.
There are 100 shares issued at 1p each but shareholders - 1
I want to change it so there are 2 shareholders with 50 shares each -
my question is how do change it? i use the inform direct platform but unsure if it reclassify or share split, or something else entirely
