May 2020 in General accounting discussion
Since February 2018, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) has required care providers to submit a statement of financial viability in the form of a statement letter from an "accredited financial specialist" usually the provider’s accountant but also from a bank or other appropriate financial institution.

As a result of AAT lobbying, as of April 2020 this now includes all AAT Licensed Accountants.
