Hi, I have a company with £70k trading profits but yet the Net Assets have reduced by £100k
Would the trading profits not add to the brought forward balance? I am probably over thinking - using Taxfiler and would like a second opinion if anyone can assist? Thanks

What about dividends? If the shareholders get dividends, net assets goes down. There are other things that reduce net assets without affecting profit, such as redemption of shares.1
