Job Title - Management Accountant?

Evening all - I am currently an Assistant Management Accountant and have recently finished my AAT Professional level, do you think it's fair to ask my employer to change my title to Management Accountant or do you think this is misleading? I am just interested in peoples feedback as to when you would consider yourself to be an MA. I appreciate that job titles can also be misleading and sometimes don't really mean much, but they can be important when you've worked so hard to pass exams and of course when you are updating your CV.
Just looking for peoples thoughts on the matter. Thanks.
