Accountancy questions

I sometimes have accountancy related questions that I need an answer for. The questions may relate to notes on accounts , policies and legal issues.
I have cover for tax and VAT issues. This cover doesn't include specific questions on a set of accounts.
I am amazed that the AAT being an accountancy body don't have a helpline for such queries.
There used to be a helpline run by ICAEW , but that's no longer available.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so can anyone give any advice?
