Accountants Fees on tax returns

Hi,
When doing a tax return for someone with property then do you include your invoice as an expense? If so, then which property do you allocate it against?
From memory, I didn't think you could claim as you could claim for rental property accounts but not the tax return piece so Accountants didn't bother to put it in. Is that still the case?
TIA
John

It is a business expense so would need to be recorded within the rental property accounts.0
