just wanted to share this little gem with you all...
last night I got a phone call from a subbie who gets £300 a week from one of my clients, he says:
'hello, we're applying for a loan in my wife's name as i have a bad credit rating. The loan company needs proof of income for her and she doesn't work, so I'm saying that I'm paying her £300 a week. Can you please make up some payslips showing what tax & ni has been deducted to leave her with £300 a week? It's OK, no-one is going to see the pay slips apart from the loan company'

he seemed quite surprised when I declined...
