Re:Study Buddy
J has a point. I imagine he and Katie saying what they say in a typical Lancashire/Mancunian accent, Bagpuss and Baggybooks with that south western twang, not quite ooh-ah but a hint of it.
Rae has a bit of a East Midlands/Derbyshire lilt but the others are just non-specific, no disrespect intended.
I'm more Estuary English with a bit more articulation, I think (as opposed to I fink!)

Re:Study Buddy
Heehee, nice retort Chris about the 9 letters!
See, I can change my time J. It's not only Countdown, but it's nearly 9.25 so must be almost time for Jeremy Kyle, woohoo!!

I usually say I haven't got a specific accent. I was brought up in Hertfordshire, and all my family have generic neutral southern accents. Interestingly, I used to go out with a girl who thought I had a really nice, classy-but-not-pretentious, voice. She was from Melton Mowbray, in Leicestershire, and I thought the same about her voice.
Sorry, random insight into my love life there. You can imagine me going on the pull in the run-up to this Valentine's day with my eyes closed, listening for a nice-sounding girl ...
