Re:Study Buddy
"What's a nice girl like you doing with an accent like that?"
"Hmmm, nice dialects!" [said to a group of girls/boys]0 -
Re:Study Buddy
re the accent thing isnt it strange how you never think you have an accent until sombody points it out?!
0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I don't regard myself as having an accent, but when somebody, let's say, from Lancashire, points it out, it seems strange to me.
Example, I say 'grass' as 'gr-arse' as opposed to 'gr-ass'.
Anyway, J or anybody else, a quick Excel question. How can I quickly convert a chart into an image file which I can post up onto an intranet - is it popssible?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
You could install a pdf convertor, to "print" the page then crop the image to suit.

Re:Study Buddy
Create the chart in excel, once it shows on screen, click the White area so the whole graph is selected (you'll see the small black squares in each corner and one in the middle of each side).
Either Click Edit > Copy.... or Press Ctrl+C .... or Right Click and choose Copy.
Open up your photoshop suite - as i'm at work i can only test with Paint, but i do know it will work with PSP too.
If in Paint, press EDIT > Paste
If in PSP, Press Edit > Paste as New Image
If in Paint, Save as Name.jpg
If in PSP, Save as Name.jpg
Done.
NOTE:
If in Paint, make sure when you paste your graph onto the canvas that there's no excess canvas, if there is, there are some resizer buttons (like the small black squares in excel) on the corner of the canvas which you can click and drag... be careful though, if you take it to small it will remove part of your graph so steady hand required... hope this helps

Re:Study Buddy
The way I do it is to copy and paste the chart into Paint and save it as a JPEG image file. Did you need something more sophisticated?
EDIT: Looks like Jamie beat me too it.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Thanks for the tips, but the one that suits me on this occasion is J's.
The pdf tip is good too so will save that for a rainy day.
When you think about it, it's so simple and why didn't I think of that before?
Thank you again.0 -

You might get swifter help if you posted something on the Forum relating to your stage in the qualification i.e. Intermediate.d_axiak wrote:hi

Although we're all 'study buddies' here, you might not find what you need soon enough.
Good luck

Re:Study Buddy
Hello Daniela
Unit 7 if I remember rightly is PRR - Preparing Reports & Returns. As far as I am aware, simulations are not generally made available at any level since they might be recycled for future use, so the only ones you really have to go on will be those in the back of your textbooks. There is no central exam for this unit either, so the Resource Centre on here won't be of much help.
There will almost certainly be a VAT return to be completed however and probably a written report with ratio analysis and recommendations.
Good luck!
