Re:Study Buddy
Has to be the quietest afternoon ever on here for the Buddies.

Re:Study BuddySupper - I used to think it was a class thing, as it seems to relate to what I would call tea.
My mother would give us supper - a light snack before bed.
I treat tea and supper as light meals/snacks- tea is between lunch and dinner proper (especially something at the end of a school day)
and supper is between dinner and bed. Of course it would be very rare to have both in the same day! Usually only one, and then only if dinner is early or late.
Oh, and I do say 'dinner ladies', just to confuse things! The preferred term is Midday Supervisory Assistant, according to my mother who is a Learning Support Assistant (not a TA).
My office is in the Borough of Broxbourne, which is part of Hertfordshire. However, the other side of the road (literally) is the London Borough of Enfield, which is techncially London, but the locals consider themselves not to live in London, but the (defunct) county of Middlesex.

Re:Study Buddy
Whenever I have started a new job I have never ever known anyone there.
It's all very strange to begin with, but after a while it all clicks into place.
First day nerves can't be helped, but they don't last long.

Re:Study Buddy
i have never known anybody i worked with either but its sometimes better like that because you spend time getting to know other people sooner rather than just talking to the person/people you do know when you start a new place0 -
