Has anybody heard anything from Gem in the past week or so?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I think she posted something last week, or the week before?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Helen - did you receive the email questionnaire back?0 -
Re:Study BuddyHas anybody heard anything from Gem in the past week or so?
Gem was on last week talking about her hyperthyroidism and how it was causing worrying weight loss and other problems. I can't recall seeing anything since then- I recall her saying that her HR department wasn't very sympathetic. Hope she's OK, wherever she's got to.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Nigel - yes I did and I confirmed safe receipt at the time.
Thanks for answering the questions so fully. I hope to crack on with the article next weekend.
Spent yesterday on the teddy bear scandal of 2006.

Re:Study Buddy
Teddy bear scandal? Did I sleep through something important? (I saw your request for museum/exhibits...)

Re:Study Buddy
No - you haven't missed anything!
I've written something on collecting teddies - had to beef it up a little by exposing a massacre of teddies at a museum by their guard dog.
Stranger than fiction!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Two for the price of one?0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Right! So the Dorset Doddlers is you, but what about the 'Skedaddle' - is that yours as well?
Where will you be publishing your survey?
(Sorry, I don't read many newspapers, but will look out for it...)
And were you referring to 'Elvis/Mabel'?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I was! But Mabel is only one or two sentences within the body of it.
It's for part of a course I'm doing, but who knows?

Re:Study Buddy
There's a 'jenny.c75' who might appreciate your help. I don't know enough for level 3 yet to feel confident about answering. (And I won't be doing the skill tests for the diploma...)

Re:Study Buddy
We have tinted windows in our office so it probably makes everything look worse than it is, I don't care really, I'm not allowed to sit by the window so I only really know what the weather is doing when I leave for the day :?0 -

My history report: 'Helen would progress further if she spent less time looking out of the window and more concentrating on her lessons'.X5wrangler wrote:I'm not allowed to sit by the window

Re:Study BuddyX5wrangler wrote:Funny thing is, I'm not allowed to sit by the window looking onto the airfield but I'm by a window looking into the Mail Centre.......... :?
Its not the sitting there, Mandy, its the fact that you want the windows wide open so that you can sniff those fumes that causes the problems
