Just listening to NAPALM DEATH - fantastic!
Bit late into this one again, Paul - Study Buddy moves so fast at times.
I can't stand Naplam Death and never could! I like normal heavy metal, thrash/speed metal, death and black metal but never really could stand the hardcore metal that groups like ND did! I know it's an acquired taste but I still like to hear some semblance of singing!
Incidentally, there was a group up where I used to live in Mansfield called Lawnmower Deth who took the mick out of Napalm Death.
Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Poison etc can all burn in metal Hell though...!
Robert
Oh - and seeing as everyone else has had a pic Helen, can I have this one please?

Re:Study Buddy
No way Rob, I like all the stuff on that DVD as you know, but a bit of hardcore metal is superb. Marilyn Manson, NIN!!!! Quality!!!!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I didn't think they were around long enough to have anything much more than early stuff. My favourite band when I was 16 along with The Fall and The Birthday Party.Paul22 wrote:Just listening to Joy Division, its pretty good. The early stuff is great.
Not much of a metal fan really. A bit of doom, some grindcore and the odd bit of avant/post metal. Most of it I just find too dull.

Re:Study Buddy
Well they werent around long, but when I say early, I mean the stuff at the start as opposed to the end of their short career

PS - sorry Rob - I googled Old Slapper...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Can't stand Marilyn Manson either. He's silly beyond words - the Alice Cooper de nos jour0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I dont listen to it all the time to be fair, not like I listen to a lot of other bands. Im well into The Kinks and The Doors at the moment0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Afternoon all,
I'm just enjoying my antepenultimate day at work, and trying to look like I'm being more productive than, in fact, I am.
Don't have much to contribute to the music discussion though.0 -
