AAT in the USA

Hello all and a happy new year

I'm trying to find out more about how the AAT is valued in America, from the perspective of using it to get a job & green card and move there permanently. There's a load of info on various websites but I can't find anything that fully shows if/how AAT is worth anything from that point of view. It doesn't seem to be recognised as far as I can see, but I am guessing it does still hold some value.

    When I've spoken to people in the states I've not come across any Americans yet who has heard of AAT.
    The only ex-students who took AAT I know there started by working for US owned firms in the UK and then moved to US as part of internal promotions.
