Hi can anyone tell me the rules on becoming an MIP and taking on a few clients whilst also being employed full time and paid through PAYE.

    There is some guidance on the main AAT website. You will need to be licensed but there are methods of exemption if you have a limited cumber of clients and income.

    You also need to check your contract of employment to see whether there are any restrictions - especially if you work in a practice.
