Re:Study Buddy
It's weird, I'm not bothered about going "under the knife" for most things but the dentist has me totally petrified.
Have told the receptionist if I am a brave girl I want a balloon, not some poxy sticker!

Aaah, them were the days eh mate!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
yeah but talk about teaching us bad habits! even the dentist encouraged sugary sweets! (even if they didnt have sugar in, and tasted nasty then you would always want a proper one!)

Re:Study Buddy
Just poking around the AAT site and found this page;
http://www.aat.org.uk/centres/display/store3/item24758/
Anyone else not seen this before? Surely this would be much better placed in the Students section Malcolm, or is it meant for tutors rather than us?

Anyone else not seen this before?
There were posts about this last year.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Well, it's the first time I've blooming seen it!
Fast approaching two thousand posts now Helen. I reckon you're about two hundred in front of the next most prolific person on here! So in between spell checking my messages and posting on here, do you do any other work?
Robert0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Yep.
I multi-task.
:roll:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
im multi tasking at the minute! posting on here, and pretending to study!

Men can do that kind of thing too. Pretending to be interested in what the missus is rambling on about while keeping virtually your full attention on the football.
So whoever said males cannot multi-task?

Re:Study Buddy
It's not multi-tasking if you don't do it properly.
Do you not think that we (females) know when men aren't listening?

Well why on earth carry on then? Or is it like a chain reaction - once it's started it can't be stopped until it's exhausted itself?
Or maybe it's just to torment us and use it as evidence in a later argument?
I'd compare it to the Royal Mail - proof of delivery isn't necessarily proof of receipt...

Re:Study Buddy
Well, speaking for myself here (I'd hate to generalise), I prefer to watch football!
Off-side - oh no - we've already covered that one!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I expected more comeback than that Helen - don't tell me you've run out of wit already? It's only 1.40pm and you've got at least another ten hours on here to go...
Obviously not up to this marathon, eh?

Re:Study Buddy
Oh don't you worry about me - I can go the full distance.
It's just that we all nag and moan - men and women.
In fact I know some men that have turned it into a specialised subject.
I can't see the point in labouring points (!). If you have something to say, say it. Repetition is only dilution.

Yeah, but we learnt from the best. Women...
Blimey you've gone all weird and philosophical on me now...
Come back Helen! When does Lent finish?
Robert0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I think I'm doing remarkably well with Lent - however, I am saving all your posts in a 'favourites' folder so that after the 40th night I can respond to them all.

Re:Study Buddy
has anybody else given anything up for lent? ive never bothered with it, maybe i should give up ice cream next year, that would be really difficult! lol!

Re:Study Buddy
Giving up checking Blobbyh's spelling mistakes was too hard for me!
:shock:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Looks like a lot of you have given up posting on Buddy for Lent!!
