    It's weird, I'm not bothered about going "under the knife" for most things but the dentist has me totally petrified.

    Have told the receptionist if I am a brave girl I want a balloon, not some poxy sticker! :lol:

    yeah but talk about teaching us bad habits! even the dentist encouraged sugary sweets! (even if they didnt have sugar in, and tasted nasty then you would always want a proper one!) :lol:

    Well why on earth carry on then? Or is it like a chain reaction - once it's started it can't be stopped until it's exhausted itself?

    Or maybe it's just to torment us and use it as evidence in a later argument?

    I'd compare it to the Royal Mail - proof of delivery isn't necessarily proof of receipt...

    In fact I know some men that have turned it into a specialised subject.
