I am getting bogged down with notes to the accounts and trying to learn all the proformas. I have put my books down. I am going for some coffee and I am going to get this done or else. Then it is ONE topic (financial statements for single entities) that I know well.
Then I will go and rest and dream about debits and credits.
Topic 2 is consolidated balance sheets and income statments again.
Topic 3 is cash flows.
Relax on saturday night.
Sunday IFRSs and ratios which I know quite well.0 -
Finally got the notes to the accounts done at 1.30am this morning.
Good Morning everyone, another day of mad-panic-tearing-my-hair-out-last-minute-revision.
After all this is finished if I pass I am going to treat myself to tickets for the O2. Don't know what yet though.0 -
Very Very Very hungover0
-
Was it a good night in the West End then?0
-
Was great.. really rough & not looking forward to exam on monday!!0
-
Is it PCR or PEV? Which drinking venue did you happen to chance upon? Was it near Byres Road?0
-
PEV monday, PCR thursday.
Was in PJ Champs then ended up in Paisley, which is miles and miles away from my house in the west0 -
PJ Champs??? Never heard of it but then i haven't been to Glasgow for over ten years. Where is it?
Come to think of it where are all you wonderful posters today?0 -

I would never have got away with logging onto the AAT forums at work. I don't even have a job at the moment.0
-
afternoon peeps0

Being self-employed there's no-one to tell me off - just not pay me if the work's not done on time. I do wonder how some people round here (you know who you are!) get any work done though.0

Got very little revision done today as have just been tired and stressed. Gave up about 2.30pm and went to a nice cafe for homemade carrot and coriander soup with the biggest mocha coffee I could get. I went shopping afterwards and feel much better. I have just got to revise as much as I can and not get too stressed. Easier said than done.
My head hurts though!!! At least Ireland won in the rugby!!!0 -

Bought anything interesting?0 -
Hi Jilt,
No, nothing interesting just foodstuff from Marks and Spencers. Could not find that coffee and walnut cake that someone was talking about even though that is what I went down for. I found a carrot and walnut cake instead but I thought of all the calories and left it. I got somer Gruyere cheese tartlets instead.
Morning everybody! I had the best sleep ever only to be punctuated several times by Leona Lewis's "Happy" song running through my head.Three days before an exam as well!!!
I feel much better than yesterday and if I wasn't revising I would go for a nice long walk in one of London's parks today. There is a winter wonderland on in Hyde Park and it is FREE with German Christmas market. I have always wanted to go to one of those so that is definitely on the cards for next Sunday after this is all over.
I am so nervous about not doing well that I am trying to cheer myself up by planning the next few weekends.
It is a really grey day in London and probably cold as well.
What is it like where everyone else is?
Off for breakfast....

Morning Jayne,
It's very wet and miserable up here in S.Yorkshire.
The Irish match was very good, which is more than can be said of the Welsh match, they were absolutely rubbish. If they continue like yesterday, I don't fancy their chances in the 6 Nations.0 -
Just think I am going to do badly and so much really, really, really need to pass this or I won't become AAT qualified and will just have a miserable unhappy life.
I am not good at anything else.0 -
On the plus side I get to have a lie in next weekend. :-).0
-
Morning all up bright and early ready for the sunday usual dumb revision look lol as in what the heck is a liability0
-
The sun is out! Arghhh!!! Bring back the bad weather.0

Good morning all, had one of those lightbulb moments in bed this morning. Where I know why I'm doing what I'm doing so know which bits of info to include where; where I can work out which info I need for some of the more difficult (well for me anyway) ratios and what the result means without having to learn it parrot fashion. I've come to the conclusion thats its all common sense.
Just need to concentrate on standards that we may have to write about which don't figure in the practical side of the exam.
Just thought I'd share that with you all lol0 -
not here is isnt but daylight every now and again would be good lol feel like a hobbit0
-
I have given up with studying - had enough.
If i don't know it now (exam tomorrow) then i'll never know it lol0 -
GL AK get on here let us know how you got on0
-
Thanks, i'm guessing horribly0
-
