Morning Di, hoping for fun some yes although having problems with my mum-in-law. She has parkinsons which has affected her both physically and mentally and she's now at the stage where she needs someone with her round the clock but we can't get any help. We've all got businesses to run with deadlines etc so can't be with her 24/7, she's worked all her life paying her dues and demands and now when she needs care it's sorry no can do!
Apologies for the moan, just wonder why bother sometimes.

just for jill
When the usher noticed a man stretched across three seats in the movie theater, he walked over and whispered "Sorry sir, but you are allowed only one seat." The man moaned but didn't budge. "Sir," the usher said more loudly, "if you don't move, I'll have to call the manager." The man moaned again but stayed where he was. The usher left and returned with the manager, who, after several attempts at dislodging the fellow, called the police. The cop looked at the reclining man and said, "All right, what's your name, joker?" "Joe", he mumbled. "And where are you from, Joe?" Joe responds painfully, "The balcony!"0 -

Does anybody think it is possible to get the Kaplan books for PCR or PEV (one exam) and sit the exam in June 10 using textbooks and the forum?
I could not afford to pay for tuition in January owing to a family wedding but I am really keen to sit one of these exams in June. I sat DFS in December 09 using classroom tuition and passed so I would really like some feedback as to whether anyone has done this and have I got enough time left???
The next person will be studying and thinking of their next holiday......0 -

I used the Osbourne books and even though I did it via distance learning via Premier, I have not used my tutor for anything on those two exams.
Both are a lot alike and you might even find it easier to study both together, but that might also be a bit too much. I took 5 months for both and felt that I had spare time though.
So yes, I think you should be able to do it easily, if you only pick one you should have enough time, if you think you got a lot of spare time, you might be able to do both...0 -

I've got the Kaplan PEV & PCR textbook& pocket notes if you want them @ half price
It is achievable too.. almost best to go for both of them as both subjects are so alike!
(It's so a like that it's actually 1 textbook for both units!)0
