I only picked Koffio because my ROCI was higher still after the following calculations with the capsules.. if i had done it properly i expect it was better for the superio as the gross profit increased by 5% and the net profit by 9%...... i made some stupid reason that some people may prefer to choose their own coffee and not be stuck to just our brand.. LOL0
-
I picked the koffio one, higher sales revenue, higher capital investment return and appeals to wider market!
Which did you pick?0 -
What did everyone do with working out the gross profit and net profit for capsules?0

Yesss I got that, and 1,500,000 combined as the machine had a 960,000 NP0 -
yep!!0
-
i picked koffio first then supremio after calculating revenues from capsules as future cash flows are expected (according to markety research)0
-
Yes thats the net profit I got and I changed from the K one to the S one. I totally messed up the report bits though!!0

So did everyone get £575 as a net variance?
Because I did and though my reconciliation was out by like 225, I am hoping that i just worked out the standard total cost incorrect!0 -

i picked that one first, but when i did all the capsules bit, i had that supremio had higher gross profit, net profit and roci so i recommended supremio0 -
yeah i got that 1.5m combined. is that with a 35.8% np and 21.1% gp combined??0
-
yes
I got that net profit as well0 -

Yeah thats exactly what I did, when the capules bit was taken into account
I also got that NP and GP!!!!!! :-)0 -
Thats what i did to, was it literally multiplying the costs per capsule by the 10,400,000 capsules required, and taking them away from the turnover to get the gross profit, or have i done it wrong0

did you mean 35.8 gp and 21.1 np?0 -
Not sure about % now too many of them can't remember
not remember0 -
God you people have a good memory, I remember some things but not all my calculations!!0

yea, you had to do 10,400,000 by the selling price (£0.3?)
then deduct the materials and fixed amounts to get gross profit,
then deduct the sales bit? from gross profit to get net profit0 -

Thats what i did, took of the materials and fixed amount for gross profit and then decducted the distribution or selling cost (can't remember the wording) to get the net profit.0 -
beansprout64 wrote: »yea, surely gp % has to be higher than np % unless you received money for the materials, labour etc!
Yeah i cant remember any of the figures but i remember my figures turning out bit like that but yeah NP has to be lower than GP0 -
aatmunkee said "I had 35.8 gp and 21.1 np.... oh dear" - why oh dear? thats what i got?0
-
Did anyone have a gross profit of £552000?? i think including the capsules.. or maybe without.. my memory is fading fast!!0
