Re:Study Buddy
Hey Katie, well done for getting rid of the lodgers. That was jolly decent to leave a mess wasn't it?
I'm sorry your job situation is such that you have to leave. It can be daunting.
Just caught up on the phobias. Robert, I know I'm bigger than the spiders, it's just an offshoot from childhood when a spider as big as my dad's hand decided to run all over me in the bath. It was all furry too!
Maybe it's wimpish but we all have fears that other people would deem odd; Robert's 5 foot up a ladder phobia for example.
Speaking of jobs, anybody want to take me on to work from home doing this and that? Just had a 3 and a half hour journey into work because a motorway was shut. Left at 6ish, in at 9.40  At the moment I can't take it anymore and all I want to do is have a frustrated cry

Re:Study Buddy
Don't do spiders either. Got stalked by one as a kid, then it suddenly leap on me, quickest mile I ever ran!!! Broke the sound barrier I think..
I need a dog walker Malcolm

Re:Study Buddy
I could do with someone to do the housework!
Edit - could also do with someone to help on the admin side - nothing difficult, just sending emails etc.
:roll:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I can do all of the above. However, the commuting may prove difficult!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Do you have anyone that could provide references on the email tasks?
Sorry - promise never to mention it again...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Plain text is more my speciality
As for references, there are tens of thousands of satisfied people that could be available.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
OK - I'll put you on the list of 'possibles'.

Re:Study Buddy

Re:Study Buddy
Malcolm, my dog is a german shepherd, she isn't that big, only 47 kilos and yep, I provide the scoop, well it's more like a snow shovel... :shock:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
What's her name?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Beats using a carrier bag and then turning it inside out!
I like GSDs; used to have a GSD cross until last year; 16 years old he was
Though I do like bulldogs too.
Helen, I can do mornings but I don't tend to wake up until after lunch.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Ah. That explains a lot.
Sorry - need someone on the Dawn Patrol.

Re:Study Buddy
I gave up on the carrier bags, they have holes in the bottom
My big girls name is Micante (it means "the world", it's dakota indian)but to her friends she is known as moo :? She is also a white long haired so she looks like a big white wolf.
Very sad when you lose them, we lost her companion, a white retriever last year
so i know how you feel Malcolm. 0 -
Re:Study Buddy
The holes are a pain. Blooming health and safety!!
She must be quite high maintenance with the long hair, and white to boot! She must look beautiful though. The name's nice too.
Sorry about your loss too.
Oh well Helen, if you ever want someone to do an afternoon shift, put me on the list.
Though, I have calmed down a lot now
