    Yup and this is me right in that space - almost 12 months later ! I have just had a letter this morning awarding me Kaplans "Student of the Sitting" award for ICAEW Professional exams, but still I am banging my head against a brick wall in terms of securing a training contract.

    I'm actually really glad that there was some necromancy on this thread, as I am now toying with the idea of franchising and carrying on ACA as an independent. Useful to see Dean's explanation about MIP's training for ACA. This really does look the most viable option for me now....

    I'm like the little Red Hen "Fine then - I'll do it myself... and she did !"
