In the meantime, if you want to pass on your opinions on the paper you've just done, we'd love to hear from you. We've set up feedback questionnaires for every paper which you can access here: http://www.aat.org.uk/surveys/examsstudentfeedback/

(got this from a post from the moderator) The cheif Examiner must get the results from this..?:thumbup1:

I am sooo filling this in!!

I just filled this in - its a shame that they dont give you any space to details exactly what the problems were (ie. The whole of section 1 lol).

Everyone should fill this in just so the markers have an idea of exactly how unclear and difficult to understand it was - probably leading to a multitude of completely different (yet probably valid) answers depending on your interpretation of certain aspects!

Im sure people know what I am getting out without saying too much! :001_tt2:

First task. It said Quarter 1, 2 & 3 never mentioned Quarter 4. You were meant to put in four aswell or not?

first of all i only did q 1 2 3 then after reading 1.2 i think, i then went back and putin 4 a little time consuming and annoying

Hi you needed the Q4 to calc your closing stock from Q3, you should have only needed it in task 1.1 to work that bit out.
    :).....I think

you needed q1 to q3 for 1 task them you had to use all 4 quarters when the hours we reduced and had to not use agency staff!

So it was no typo you were just not meant to include Quarter 4's sales volume/wages/material costs ? :crying:

Ok, In section 1 was the idea to use all KeepKool basic hours and possible overtime for all 4 quarters to increase closing stock? which according to my scribble of an answer meant about 16 agency staff required in quarter 1 and 2 staff needed in quarter 4, if its right i'll die of shock

Wasn't it something along the lines of £2000 odd favourable??

In the first task it was just 1-3, as you couldn't deduce a closing stock figure. By 1.2 you had additional data saying they were willing to be more flexible with stock levels in order to minimise agency costs which were huge.

Fraid not but also looks like I didnt use it enough. The Revision I had with similar situations only used it the once

can't remember my variance total on session 2 but it was favourable. am i being stupid but should the question on flexing the budget have said flex to the sales volume not turnover?
