    From Sheffield University's website:

'Employment prospects for competent statisticians are good. On past experience, at least 80% of UK graduates will go on to careers in statistics.

Some recent destinations of Sheffield MSc graduates are: AXESS, Cooperative Insurance Services, First Direct, GlaxoSmithKline, Government Statistical Service, Great Universal Stores, Marks and Spencer, Medical Research Council Units, Parexel, Quintiles and AstraZeneca. '

I'm sure a good proportion of the remaining 20% to something else quantitative.

Might not be guaranteed work straightaway, but I will stand a much better chance. I would honestly like to finish AAT, but it's a time/ money issue. Interesting that you've never heard the term 'passed finalist'. I appreciate it's good, but I need to start preparing for MSc Statistics. Maybe I'll come back to AAT at a later stage. Thanks a lot for your advice Blobby.
