    Hi Folks

    I am on part 2 of the AAT certificate unit 31 stage and was wondering if anyone would like to become a 'study buddy' with me. I live in the Midlands.

    I thought I bring this thread back to the top for a bit!

    I just received the following one line email from a colleague:

    "I can not see any cost for the ... capex. Is it possible that we have miscoded the charge?"

    Is it just me who thinks that a bit of extra information would have helped? (I replied with an I don't know without more information, which of course was the wrong answer, so now she is asking another department.)

    I have had out of office message replies which simply say 'I am on vacation and therefore not in' ..... and thats it. No information on how long they are out for, when they are back or who else could be contacted as alternative - really helpful

    I am not that impressed with the Ipad!

    With everything from apple you always wait until the 3rd or 4th model comes out (which is normally pretty quickly) as they are normally very good at learning from their mistakes!

    Look at the Iphone!

    1 & 2g Iphones where not all that! Things only started getting good from 3g onwards!

    The Ipad will be exactly the same!

    I see Apple are suing Amazon over the latters use of the words 'App' and 'store'. Blimey, they're laying claim to the entire English language now.

    Coming from a company that has stolen much of it's hardware ideas, interface systems and even company logo from others then claimed them as their own, I can't wait for the day when the Apple balloon finally gets well and truly deflated with a multi billion dollar fine.

    Depends what your expectations are I guess.
    I got mine as a surprise gift. It's a less obtrusive way of browsing the web at home than a Laptop, it's a big screen for Angry Birds (yay!) and its nifty. Yes, it's a gadget but I think it's fab.

    As to Apple suing over the words App Store, that's just crazy.

    Clocks go forward this weekend? Sweet, longer evenings!! :)
